A Message from the Founder

Hi, I’m Eric Shea, RN, founder of CareSkill Education LLC, and developer of CNA Skills at Home: Arizona Edition.

I’m a Registered Nurse in Arizona with 16 years of Nursing experience and 6 years of Healthcare Education experience. My expertise is in Nursing Education, Higher Education, and Program Development. I have worked in various leadership roles and clinical settings throughout my career and am well versed in Nursing practice.

I graduated from New Mexico State University and originally come from New Mexico, but I now call Tucson, Arizona home — and I love living here!

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching and supporting CNA students as they prepare to enter healthcare. Some of my happiest professional memories have come from watching students grow from nervous beginners into confident future caregivers. I know how much courage it takes to learn new skills, practice in front of others, and prepare for skills testing while balancing work, family, and life.

That is why I created CNA Skills at Home

My goal is to give Nursing Assistant students extra support outside of class and lab, through guided practice, clear wording, skill-flow support, supplemental tools, networking, and encouragement. I want students to feel less overwhelmed, more organized, and more confident as they prepare for skills testing.

Outside of Nursing and Education, I enjoy exploring Arizona, spelunking, camping, painting, cooking, producing music, and spending time with my family. I believe learning should feel supportive, human, and confidence-building — not cold or intimidating.

Thank you for being here. I’m honored to support you as you prepare for this next step in your healthcare journey.

You’ve got this!

With warm encouragement,

Eric Shea, RN
