CNA Skills at Home - Jump Start is an app-style learning resource that can be used on a phone, tablet, or computer. It is designed for future CNA students, beginning CNA students, multilingual learners, immigrants, refugees, adult learners, and anyone who wants a supportive foundation before or during CNA school.
Jump Start helps learners understand the basics of the U.S. healthcare system, CNA education, classroom/lab/clinical expectations, cultural and language navigation, test-taking strategies, basic CNA vocabulary, communication, anatomy, resident care, ADLs, infection prevention, documentation, emergency response, and how to report a change in condition.
The course is built to be short, visual, beginner-friendly, repetitive, and supportive. It helps students learn key words, understand what to expect, practice confidence-building concepts, and feel more prepared before entering or continuing a CNA program.
This resource does not replace an approved CNA training program, instructor guidance, clinical instruction, or any official testing organization.
